L'Oiseau et l’Enfant is a song written and composed by Jean-Paul Cara and José Graciano, aka Joe Gracy.
It is an exhortation for boundless universal peace and love in the world. The song was performed, in French, by the singer Marie Myriam at the 1977 Eurovision song competition that held in Wembley, United Kingdom.
Marie Myriam, who was twenty eight then, won the trophy. That was France’s fifth Eurovision victory.
