In a moral education and good manners class, the teacher asked her pupils :

- Michael, imagine you were at table with a well-educated young lady from a respectable family whom you were courting, and it happened that you felt like going to the toilet, what would you tell her?

- Give me a second, I want to go and piss a fast one.

- That would be too vulgar and so crude of you.

- John, what would you say?

- Excuse me, I want to go to the toilet, but I’ll be right back.

- That’s much better, but it’s unpleasant to pronounce the word toilet during meals.

- What about you Toto, you should, at least for once, be able to use your intelligence to prove you know good manners?

- I’d say "My dear, I’m sorry to leave you alone for a while, I want to go and lend a helping hand to an intimate friend whom, hopefully, you’d meet in a while, after our meal".
